There comes a time
For every little star
From house to house
The kids do go
Wanting more than
Christmas snow
All the kids dress up
For Halloween
And trick or treating!
Vampires and pirates,
Pumpkins and a bee,
Spiders and witches,
There’s so much to see!
Carving Jack-O-Lanterns
Is so much fun
And brings joy
To everyone
Halloween parties
Are filled with delight
And the decorations
Haunted houses,
My, oh, my!
They’re so scary
Try not to cry!
Bobbing for apples
Is loads of fun
Especially with
A water gun!
Scaring people
Is lots of fun
Most costumes
Scare more than one!
Pulling pranks
Happens very often
Sometimes people get raped in tissues
That someone coughed in!
These are patterns
Of Halloween
Now… get ready and…
Scream!!!!
Hey there! Check your spelling on the next to last stanza as it should be spelled wrapped, not raped :)But it is a very well written poem. Good job!
